1.     Check the input tray for the jammed paper

·        Switch off your HP printer and then disconnect the power cord

·        Open the input tray and look for the grey paper pick rollers. Take a moist cloth to clean them and remove any dust particles

·        Check whether it is dry or not after cleaning, once it dries up place the rollers back and adjusts

·        Connect the power cables and USB and turn on the printer

·        Try printing a file to see whether the issue is still there or not

 

4.     Clean the printer rollers 


·        Remove all the papers from the input tray of the printer

·        Click on the down arrow sign button to select the Settings and then choose ‘Ok’

·        Click on the down arrow icon once again to select Tools and then press ‘OK’

·        Finally, navigate to the down arrow button to select ‘Clean Paper Feed’ and then press OK.

·        Now you will hear a noise from the printer for a minute which is normal

·        You have to wait until the printer stops entirely before you can go-ahead

·        Try printing a test file

·        Turn your printer on and then disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer

·        Remove the power cable from the main power plug

·        Wait for a minute before reconnecting the power cable to the power source and then to the printer

·        Switch on the printer and you will be able to complete your printing tasks now

 

6.     Test the printer by printing a self-test page

·        Load a fresh A4 sheet in the input tray

·        Press and hold the ‘Cancel’ and ‘Start copy color’ buttons together

·        Release both the keys and you will get a print of the self-test page
