The team of experts at 123.hp/setup has compiled some common hp printer related issues that you might face sooner or later and ways to fix them easily. They are listed below:

HP Printer error code 02

This error is usually related to printer cable or drivers. In order to fix it, you will have to switch the printer off and disconnect the printer cable and then turn it on. If the printer displays ‘ready’ then replace the motive force. If it is still not fixed then remove the printer cable after that.

If there is still an error then there is a high possibility of a hardware problem. When your HP printer is not out of paper then this means that there is a problem with the paper sensor.

If you use third-party toners or ink cartridges then with some confidence, 123.hp/setup can tell you that you are no stranger to this error.

The printer has a conflict with the toner cartridge or the Printer is not capable of reading the cartridge. This is also known as ‘supplies memory error’.

In order to rectify this error, the HP printer needs to read the data logged on the cartridge chip to recognize the cartridge that was installed. The main point is the connection of the printer and cartridge chip that uses two little electrical contacts. You can use an eraser to clean the electrical contact on the cartridge chip and make sure that the chip connector is working properly so that you don’t see this error. You can also try to resolve it by resetting the printer by turning it on and off. If nothing works then take out the toner cartridge and reinstall it or use an original one instead of it as the error might be because of the compatibility issues.

This error occurs when there is no paper in the paper tray or there is an issue with the paper sensor. You need to make sure that you have placed the printer on a flat surface and see if the paper tray is clear of dust particles or not. If it is dirty then clean it thoroughly. If something is blocking the sensors then get rid of it as well. Once it is clean, add sheets in the tray and make sure that they are properly placed.

HP Printer error code 13

This error occurs when the printer senses that the paper is stuck in the machine. A paper jam has occurred all the way through the machine i.e. Paper cassette, under the toner unit/fusing unit and the exit unit. ‘The paper is jammed in the machinemessage will be displayed on the screen of the hp printer.

In order to fix it, you should follow the on-screen instructions and check the paper path for paper jams in the machine. Make sure that there is no paper stuck in the Machine and open and close the entire printer covers. If no paper is found then close all printer doors and panels and see if the error message has gone or not. If not then turn off the printer and wait for a few minutes for the machine to reset and turn it back on, if this does not fix the problem and the machine still shows a paper jam then there is a possibility of a hardware problem.
