  • On your window search bar, type devices.

  • Select devices and printers.

  • Or you can go to the control panel and select devices.

  • Now, to install the drivers, click Add a printer.

  • The add printer wizard will show up.

  • Select the option “the printer I want is not listed” >> Next.

  • Now, select add local printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname.

  • Click on the drop-down menu in Devices type.

  • Select TCP/IP and enter the IP address or hostname of the printer >> Next.

  • On next block Hostname or IP address, type printer IP address >> Next >> Finish (to finish creating the port).

  • Head to Have disk and look for the location where you have saved extracted driver files.

  • Select the drivers and click on ‘set as the default printer’ for future use.(your choice)

  • Click Next and wait until the printer driver is installed.

  • Lastly, click on Print a test page >> Finish (to close the Add Printer wizard).


Install drivers on your existed printer:


  • On your window search bar, type devices.

  • Select devices and printers.

  • Or you can go to the control panel and select devices.

  • Now, to install the drivers, click Add a printer.

  • The add printer wizard will show up.

  • Click on the option “the printer I want is not listed” >> click on Next.

  • Now, select “Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings”.

  • Select use an existing port and from the drop-down list choose your printer’s port.

  • Head to Have disk and look for the location where you have saved extracted driver files.

  • Select the drivers >> select  ‘set as the default printer’ for future use (recommendatory).

  • Click Next and wait until the printer driver is installed.

  • Lastly, click on Print a test page >> Finish (to close the Add Printer wizard).
